    Please visit Crixa. I've driven here from wherever I've lived - all over the Bay - in the past 10 years for cake. For real. I miss some of the more savory stuff they used to do, but everything here is fresh and amazing and novel. I promise you'll love it.

    The best pastry in the whole Bay Area and probably in North California: Most cakes and pastry are made here following ancient European recipes. Sweet but not too much. Delicate taste. The only thing that would not mind to be a little sweeter is the staff. Not very friendly, to my taste...

    I took my mom to San Fransisco last year. We went to the Ed Roberts Campus to check it out and a lawyer from DREDF told us to check out Crixa Cakes. It was only a short walk away and we were not disappointed. We got three items because we couldn't decide. I loved my pie and my mom loved her cake. We ate at a table outside and had a lovely time.

    The best European cakes and pastries outside of Europe. The Black Forest Cake tastes just like in the best cafes in Germany. And the Tiramisu? It makes you feel like being in Rome. In addition to these well known classics one can also experiment with a Hungarian poppy seed cake or eat a fantastic Russian cheese cobbler and more.

    Amazing best ginger cake I have tasted and good cappuccino . Worth the trip to visit .
